FEU Tamaraws put school pride on the line in UAAP Season 87 Finals vs NU

The UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball Finals features the FEU Tamaraws facing the NU Bulldogs, marking a clash between historic programs and current powerhouses, with Game 1 of the best-of-3 series starting Sunday, May 11.

After a six-season absence since Season 81, FEU returns to the Finals. They secured the top seed with a 13-1 elimination round record and decisively defeated La Salle in the Final Four, avoiding a repeat of last season's upset loss as the number one seed to UST. This year's Tamaraws team appears more mature, deeper, and motivated by revenge and redemption.

FEU enters the Finals carrying the legacy of being the most decorated men's volleyball program in UAAP history, boasting 25 championships. They now aim to add another title, led by a group combining top-tier talent and depth.

The team's offense is headlined by the formidable scoring duo of Dryx Saavedra and Mikko Espartero, consistently among the league's top offensive threats.
