FIFA reveals details to apply for World Cup tickets

Applications for tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup will open on September 10, 2026, as announced by FIFA.

The tournament, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, is scheduled to begin on June 11, 2026, at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

FIFA stated that due to anticipated high demand, tickets will be released in phases. However, the organization did not confirm whether it would implement dynamic pricing, a method used during the Club World Cup that resulted in significant ticket price fluctuations.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed enthusiasm, stating they look forward to "welcoming the world back to North America" for what he described as "the biggest and greatest sporting event ever." He encouraged fans globally to prepare to secure their tickets, calling them "the most coveted seats in world sport."
