Report – France Superstar Could Still Leave Inter Milan This Summer

Marcus Thuram could still leave Inter Milan unexpectedly before the summer transfer window closes, according to a report in Il Messaggero. His contract previously contained a €85 million release clause, which would have allowed any club to sign him automatically without negotiating with Inter. Although this clause was part of the five-year deal he signed in 2023, it has now expired, which is positive news for Inter.

Despite recent struggles with form and minor injuries, the 27-year-old French striker remains a key player for Inter and has long attracted interest from other clubs. However, Thuram is not considered "unsellable" among Inter's big-name players.

Therefore, while the expired clause reduces immediate pressure, Inter would likely be ready to negotiate his departure if a suitable offer arrives before the transfer deadline.
