Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese will appear on the cover of the NBA 2K26 video game's WNBA Edition, available exclusively through GameStop. This makes her one of only six WNBA stars ever featured on a 2K cover. Simultaneously with the cover reveal, Reese announced her first signature shoe line through Reebok—a strategic marketing move widely praised as a significant boost for the two-time All-Star.

New York Liberty player Sabrina Ionescu, who shares the distinction of having both a 2K cover and a signature shoe line, publicly commended Reese. Ionescu described Reese’s dual announcement as "knocking two birds with one stone," emphasizing how it amplifies Reese’s global popularity. She expressed happiness that Reese is receiving such recognition early in her career, recalling how her own 2K24 cover moment held deep personal significance.
