Wesley Gassova on Bologna radar from Al-Nassr

Bologna are reportedly targeting Brazilian forward Wesley Gassova, as indicated by Sky Sport Italia, despite his €18m transfer to Al-Nassr in August 2024. The 20-year-old, who has earned nine caps for Brazil's Under-20 team, previously played for Corinthians before joining the Saudi Pro League club.

At Al-Nassr, Wesley became teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo and worked briefly under Italian coach Stefano Pioli. Bologna's interest emerges as a potential contingency plan should they decide to sell Dan Ndoye this summer, though CEO Claudio Fenucci recently stated the club has "no need to sell anymore players" following Sam Beukema's transfer to Napoli, casting doubt on Ndoye's departure.

Wesley offers tactical versatility, capable of playing on either wing in a trident attack or as a central supporting striker. During his debut season with Al-Nassr, he made 22 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and three assists.
