Why 2 Arsenal players didn’t join Spain training camp

Arsenal have returned from a warm-weather training camp in Spain and will spend time at their London Colney base before traveling to Singapore. However, Declan Rice and Fabio Vieira did not participate in the camp, while goalkeeper David Raya joined the sessions late.

Rice's absence is attributed to following an individualized training plan, with reports indicating no concern over his non-participation. Meanwhile, Raya's delayed arrival resulted from an extended summer break that included his wedding and honeymoon this month, though he resumed training with the team in Spain over the weekend.

Vieira missed the camp due to prior involvement in the Club World Cup with loan club FC Porto, which concluded on June 24th. His mandatory three-week break means he could return as early as July 15th. He is expected to be available for Arsenal's preseason tour of Asia and will train with the squad while his long-term future is resolved.
