NBL’s Emmanuel Njuki, Elected Uganda Alcohol Industry Association Chairperson

Emmanuel Njuki, Legal and Corporate Affairs Lead at Nile Breweries Limited, has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Uganda Alcohol Industry Association. He succeeds Jackie Tahakanizibwa from Uganda Breweries in this leadership role.

The election occurred during the association's 2025 Annual General Meeting held at the UMA headquarters in Kampala. Njuki previously served as the association's Vice Chairman and will now be deputised by MS Reddy from Premier Distillery.

In his acceptance speech, Njuki committed to enhancing collaboration among members, regulators, and key stakeholders to benefit both the association and Uganda's alcohol sector. He specifically acknowledged the outgoing leadership's contributions to the industry's growth and stability.
